Job Description

Role Overview Full-time Technical Support Group (TSG) engineer role in Hong Kong Airlines' Maintenance and Engineering department, based in the Hong Kong SAR, reporting to the Technical Support Group Manager. Key Responsibilities Lead daily TSG operations by providing technical support Monitor the AIRMAN system and carry out rectification and troubleshooting when fault messages appear Follow up on troubleshooting and rectification of defects assigned by the TSG defect control engineer Provide on-site technical support for critical aircraft defects, technical delays and AOG events Update defect troubleshooting details and parts replacement records Review fleet defect rectification history and OEM technical documents Enforce discipline, supervise Engineers and Assistant Engineers, and take responsibility for tasks they cannot resolve Control all records of defect troubleshooting and rectification and maintain an effective TSG shift handover log Carry out other tasks assigned by the Technical Support Group Manager Licences & Qualifications Holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (HKAR-66 or CAAC-66) At least one aircraft type (A320 or A330) preferred Degree or tertiary-level education in an engineering discipline preferred Experience Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience for CRS; Airbus fleet experience preferred Experience in line maintenance or cabin image management preferred Requirements Good understanding of aircraft systems and familiarity with technical manuals Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills Good physical condition and able to work shift duty Good command of Cantonese and Mandarin, and fluent spoken and written English Additional Information Hong Kong Airlines is an equal opportunities employer. Requirements
