Job Description
Role Overview Perform and oversee maintenance and engineering activities on aircraft and/or components, within the company's regulatory approved capability and individual authorisation. Key Responsibilities Ensure all approved scheduled maintenance is carried out on time according to the programme, pre-defined standards and mandatory maintenance directives and requirements Perform and oversee daily maintenance and engineering activities so that all maintenance actions are performed to the standards and requirements approved by the company, efficiently and with minimum downtime, and report daily maintenance activities to maintenance management and relevant operations personnel Coordinate all approved unscheduled maintenance actions and provide recommendations to maintenance personnel so that allocated downtime is used safely and efficiently Ensure pre-flight inspections are carried out in accordance with operators' and company procedures and quality requirements, to guarantee a high level of safety and quality on all flights Ensure crew members are given all the required support on maintenance related issues, to guarantee the safety and reliability of the aircraft Ensure work orders are correctly completed and released to service in accordance with applicable regulations and operators' and company procedures, to maintain aircraft safety, effective record keeping and minimum downtime Comply with company safety, quality and regulatory standards at all times and report any deficiencies Ensure all aircraft data and references are updated and approved in line with the latest aviation authority and OEM technical publications Maintain discipline and keep safety and quality as the top priority Keep the aircraft and hangar clean and tidy to ensure a safe and efficient work environment Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Licences & Qualifications Holder of a valid CAAP, FAA or relevant Part-66 licence; aircraft maintenance experience level is required Proficient in both oral and written English Experience At least 3 years of experience in the aviation industry with relevant aircraft type ratings 3 to 5 years' experience with type rating on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer, Learjet, Dassault Falcon, Boeing or Airbus aircraft products Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software Driving skills preferred Additional Information Key performance indicators: safety and quality, aircraft availability, on-time performance (technical dispatch reliability) and customer service satisfaction.
