Role Overview ExecuJet Middle East is seeking a Commander - Dassault Falcon 7X to fill a vacancy within its Flight Operations division, based out of Dubai (DXB), United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities Carry out the commander's duties and responsibilities as set out in OM-A Liaise with passengers or the aircraft owner when an aircraft defect or other operational issue may affect the aircraft's schedule Be responsible for the aircraft in accordance with the ExecuJet Middle East Operations Manuals, including operating procedures, standard operating procedures, flight time limitations and safety Be familiar with company operational instructions and crew memos and the civil aviation regulations of the state of registry, and operate accordingly Be responsible for all decisions made on board, for aircraft paperwork being in order before departure and for the aircraft being airworthy before departure Create a safe and professional on-board environment with emphasis on good Crew Resource Management Ensure passengers' travel documents are correct before departure Hold ultimate responsibility for passengers and for passengers following the flight attendant's instructions; when operating with inflight service personnel, ensure all briefings and cabin security checks are carried out personally or assigned to the co-pilot Brief passengers on journey time, en-route weather, possible delays and anything else pertinent to the flight Ensure the crew are presentable and that they never damage the reputation or image of ExecuJet Middle East and the Luxaviation Group Report any abnormalities, events, incidents or accidents through the correct channels using the reporting system Actively promote, understand and support a just management culture Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures applying to the business Licences & Qualifications ATPL with a current Falcon 7X type rating Languages: fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage IT skills: basic Microsoft Office Experience Minimum 4,000 hours total time Minimum 1,000 hours pilot-in-command time 2,000 hours jet time 500 hours on type Corporate or business aviation experience desirable Requirements Character Profile Highly professional Very flexible Team player who works well without supervision and leads by example Works well under pressure Proactive Additional Information These duties are indicative of the role and are not exhaustive; they may change from time to time to meet the company's business objectives as required by the manager.
