Role Overview As a world market leader in aviation, the company applies aviation-grade precision to incoming goods inspection so that customers can always take off safely. The team is growing and is looking for Certifying Staff for incoming goods inspection at the Calden site, working on the gearbox and drive components that form the heart of the helicopter. Key Responsibilities Develop quality concepts, write inspection instructions, and introduce and maintain modern quality systems. Carry out product inspections, including visual, dimensional and surface inspections, document them, and perform the final inspection and release of parts and systems, including First Article Inspection. Independently lead the processing of 8D reports and define and verify corrective measures in cross-functional teams. Prepare, check and archive the required manufacturing and inspection documentation completely, for example log cards. Coordinate across departments on quality deviations and borderline cases and define necessary immediate measures such as delivery stops. Support work preparation and production with inspection planning and release inspection plans independently. Licences & Qualifications Completed specialist vocational training in an aviation-related or similar field of metalworking. Completed further qualification as a technician, master craftsman or aviation technology inspector in accordance with EASA Part-66. Knowledge of aviation law under EASA Part-21G is an advantage. Experience Relevant long-standing professional experience, preferably in inspection and/or quality. Ideally sound knowledge of quality management. Basic knowledge of ERP systems and databases, and good knowledge of the common Microsoft Office and Google applications. Requirements Good English language skills. Self-assured manner, team spirit, reliability and the ability to make decisions. Critical thinking, quick comprehension and careful, precise working.
