About the Company Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH builds and maintains helicopters that are essential tools for first responders, firefighters, public service operators and military customers flying critical missions across the globe. Role Overview Airbus Helicopters is seeking motivated Certifying Staff holding EASA Part-66 CAT B1.3 approval to work in its MRO organisation, covering inspection, troubleshooting and release of helicopters. Locations and Helicopter Types Nordholz: NH90. Fassberg: NH90, H145 / BK117. Bückeburg: H135 / EC135, H145 / BK117. Fritzlar: H145 / BK117. Donauwörth: NH90. Augsburg: H145 / BK117. Laupheim: H145 / BK117. Calden: H225 / EC225 / Super Puma, H135 / EC135, H145 / BK117. Holzdorf: CH-47 Chinook. Each location covers development, series production and/or maintenance business for specific helicopter types. Key Responsibilities Identify malfunctions and describe damage patterns; determine, record and label complaints relating to general aircraft technology and MRO processes. Carry out inspection measures and troubleshooting, including approval (release) of the helicopters. Supervise installation, functional, interim and final tests during scaffolding work, repairs and maintenance. Complete work processes and support the release of aircraft for ground running or flight. Coordinate and debrief measures with the helicopter crew. Coordinate measures with the responsible CAMO. Ensure all necessary operational and safety requirements are met. Licences & Qualifications Completed vocational training in aircraft mechanics or similar. Additional qualification: master craftsman, technician or technical degree (Bachelor). EASA Part-66 CAT B1.3 licence, or in progress. DEMAR 66 CAT B1.3 licence is desirable. Type rating on Airbus helicopters is desirable. Requirements Experience in aviation assembly, inspection and maintenance. Team spirit and resilience. Business-fluent German and good English skills. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, depending on product type and at most a few times a year.
