About the Company Airbus Helicopters Japan Co. Ltd maintains and modifies civil helicopters in Japan. Role Overview The position is for aircraft certifying staff and inspector. The work covers confirmation of the airworthiness of maintained helicopters, confirmation that modified helicopters have been worked on in accordance with the design specifications, and the work of passing the airworthiness certification inspection. Licences & Qualifications A First Class Aircraft Maintenance Technician Licence (rotary-wing aircraft) for one of the following types is required: Airbus Helicopters models EC225, AS332, H160, EC155 and AS365. Kawasaki BK117. Experience Certification work experience relating to the licence held is required, in one of the following forms: At least three years of certification work at an Approved Maintenance and Inspection Organisation, including experience undergoing airworthiness certification inspections. At least three years of certification work at an Approved Maintenance and Alteration Organisation, including experience modifying aircraft of the type related to the modification.
