Role Overview Transavia is expanding with a new home base in Brussels alongside Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven, and is looking for experienced Boeing 737NG Captains to help build that base from day one. You will operate the Boeing 737NG and, in the coming years, transition to the Airbus A321neo with full conversion training provided. During the start-up phase you will work with a team of around 60 pilots, a close-knit and professional group selected on experience, responsibility and a hands-on mentality. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the safety and efficiency of a challenging flight operation Work with your crew to ensure a safe, smooth operation and a professional, pleasant atmosphere on board Combine technical expertise with a pragmatic mindset and inspire colleagues through your approach and way of working Operate a wide range of European destinations, from sunny islands to busy metropolitan airports, across varied routes, weather conditions and airfields Licences & Qualifications Valid EASA ATPL Valid ME/IR (A) with PBN Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate MCC certificate Advanced UPRT certificate (if the licence was issued after 20 December 2021) Minimum ICAO ELP level 5 to apply; ELP 6 is required before employment starts Valid Boeing 737NG type rating Experience Minimum 1,000 actual hours as Captain on the Boeing 737NG, of which 50 hours flown in the last 6 months Grand total of 3,500 flight hours Able to swim one full pool length unaided in order to take part safely in the wet drill What We Offer Starting salary of €11,220 gross per month, plus a monthly allowance of €39 gross per block hour (which can amount to more than 100 hours per month) Annual salary increases averaging €300 gross per month, excluding inflation indexation Permanent contract — taxes paid in the Netherlands, social security paid in Belgium End-of-year allowance of 8% of base gross salary, plus holiday allowance Pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution Loss of licence scheme Uniform, car parking and medical examinations covered by Transavia Final roster issued 35 days in advance 20 days of annual leave under the Belgian accrual system plus 10 public holidays (pro rata) Possibility to work part-time from 12 months after your line check Excellent travel benefits including MyID/ID95 travel after 3 months Additional Information Apply directly using the button on the vacancy page.   • Valid Boeing 737NG type rating
