About the Company Smartwings is a long-established Czech airline and the largest Czech air carrier, founded in 1997. It operates charter and scheduled flights from operational bases in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, France and the Canary Islands, serving over 300 airports worldwide throughout the year. Role Overview Smartwings is looking for qualified and ambitious captains to join its Boeing 737 fleet on a seasonal contract with a floating home base. Requirements No criminal record Class 1 Medical Certificate Last flight within the previous 12 months Age between 26 and 63 ICAO English Level 4 or above Right to live and work in the EU Licensing: able to receive a background check by the start of OCC at the latest Proven cooperation and teamwork skills Excellent communication skills with advanced CRM traits Stress management in an ever-changing work environment Task-sharing and delegation skills Leadership and managerial skills focused on teamwork in an international environment Overall problem-solving and decision-making skills, including those expected of an aviation professional A high level of situational awareness and the ability to keep improving on this key skill Successful completion of the company selection screening (contents and conditions are sent personally) Licences & Qualifications Current EASA ATPL licence Current command type rating with IR Experience 3,500 hours total time 1,000 hours in command on type What We Offer Self-employed contract as B737 Captain (under Czech self-employment rules) Contract period until 31 October 2027, with a possible revolving contract in following years depending on the market situation Base: various home bases (floating base) A wide range of operations, from short-haul to intercontinental flights Adequate income Modern aircraft fleet: Boeing 737 NG/MAX Accommodation allowance paid by Smartwings Rostering: 20 days on / 10 days off Additional Information Travel allowance: the starting point is Prague. The pilot is responsible for reaching Prague at their own expense and may use MyID Travel, which is available to pilots for the duration of the contract. Transport between Prague and the assigned base is paid by Smartwings during the 21-day pattern.

Requirements

• No criminal record
• Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Last flight within the previous 12 months
• Age between 26 and 63
• ICAO English Level 4 or above
• Right to live and work in the EU
• Licensing: able to receive a background check by the start of OCC at the latest
• Proven cooperation and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication skills with advanced CRM traits
• Stress management in an ever-changing work environment
