About the Company Airbus International Services (AIS) is a subsidiary wholly owned by Airbus Helicopters and is based in Dublin, Ireland. Established in 2010, AIS supports Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence & Space, ATR and Satair with services delivered by experienced professionals deployed in more than 50 countries. AIS has three business lines: Helicopter Technical Operations supporting Airbus Helicopters; Aircrew Assistance supporting Airbus Helicopters and ATR; and Airplane Operations supporting Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, ATR and Satair. Its services are provided exclusively to Airbus Group entities and affiliates. Role Overview AIS is looking for a C295 B2 Technician to join the AIS Airplane Business Line. The selected candidate will work in cooperation with the Airbus Defence & Space team and AIS and will support short-term and long-term missions worldwide. Place of work is worldwide and the candidate must be available to travel. Key Responsibilities Exercise the licence and approval in relation to inspection and everyday processes. Certify scheduled and unscheduled tasks on light transport aircraft (C295 or CN235) agreed with the customer. Carry out planned maintenance and service bulletins arising from modifications not performed at the final assembly line or appearing after aircraft delivery. Perform inspections, repairs, replacements, functional checks, troubleshooting and fault isolation. Carry out functional tests and deliveries with the customer. Manage small groups of non-licensed mechanics performing maintenance activities when required. Certify jobs performed by yourself and team members. Ensure crews are suitably debriefed so that defects are accurately defined and recorded. Ensure high quality work on aircraft, components and completed documentation. Set up work processes and practices and take part in all aspects of technical support of aircraft. Ensure equipment, facilities and premises are maintained to a high standard. Analyse and interpret technical information relating to aircraft. Manage workforce and workload and work closely with other departments to complete projects. Requirements Fluent in English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Willing to travel and flexible, as the job includes assignments at customers worldwide. Able to solve problems with a very high degree of independence. Very high sense of responsibility and quality awareness. Familiar with MS Office and/or G Suite applications. Licences & Qualifications Valid EASA or EMAR Part-66 B2 licence with type rating. Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable training. Experience Experience in civil or military aircraft maintenance in a similar role is a prerequisite.
