Job Description

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) you are responsible for the efficient maintenance support of Beech King Air 350 aircraft for the B300 Program at East Sale, and other aircraft as may be authorised from time to time by the Program Services Manager or his delegate. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision and to direct Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and ground handlers as required during the execution of various duties. As a Jet Aviation LAME you will be conversant with all company procedures, processes, policies, and workplace protocols relevant to airworthiness while maintaining workplace confidentiality. This full-time position offers an annual salary package starting from AUD$110k to $140k, plus Superannuation, plus Military Bonus, plus overtime, plus relocation assistance if required. Your Responsibilities Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Ensure compliance with all ADs, SBs, etc. prior to expiry of compliance and relevant to the aircraft. Supervise and direct, as required, AME and Ground Handler personnel. Carry out category and category co-ordination certifications within applicable ratings. Carry out inspection and maintenance co-ordination and certification. Ensure all entries and certifications for work undertaken are completed and certified. Ensure all data, release notes, and certificates of conformance for components and parts used during servicing or maintenance accompany the respective work sheet/work package. Carry out line maintenance functions. Actively participate in the Quality and Safety Management System as applicable. Ensure FOD control procedures are adhered to. Ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to. Ensure GSE is serviceable and report any defects or deficiencies. Ensure data used is current and applicable. Complete service reports as required. Ensure tool control requirements are adhered to and that documentation is correctly raised and completed at all times. Liaise with the Senior Base Engineer and Maintenance and Logistics Supervisor to resolve any work-related deficiencies, complaints, and disputes. Assist with defect analysis and investigations. Carry out aircraft washing and associated corrosion control inspection. Assist with stores issue, receipt, and dispatch functions in a back-up capacity. Carry out aircraft towing and repositioning, aircraft refuelling, and aircraft marshalling in accordance with standard aviation industry signals. Carry out other duties as may be directed by your supervisor from time to time. What Will Help You Succeed A valid and current CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License is highly regarded, or a minimum Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification with potential for RPL conversion. A type rating and/or experience working with King Air B200 or B300 aircraft is essential. Extensive knowledge and experience working on various aircraft types and systems. Strong understanding of aviation regulations, airworthiness standards, and safety practices, with a demonstrated understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Proficient in using aircraft maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS). Computer literate at a basic level in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work in support of customers, predominantly Monday to Friday, including weekends and public holidays as required. Why Jet Aviation?
