Role Overview STS Aviation Services is hiring B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers in Manchester, United Kingdom for contract opportunities starting in September 2026. The role supports the commercial winter programme at the Manchester base and is built for licensed engineers who can lead maintenance activity, certify work within company approvals and keep aircraft moving safely, efficiently and correctly across scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance on major commercial aircraft platforms. Key Responsibilities Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft, including all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and certification of maintenance within the scope of company approvals. Provide leadership and supervision of aircraft mechanics and support staff, leading standards of maintenance execution by example. Ensure aircraft maintenance activity is performed promptly and efficiently to the customer's full satisfaction, supporting on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability. Licences & Qualifications UK CAA Part-66 B2 licence. Current CAA type certification on the Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320 (one or both). Experience Previous base maintenance experience. Requirements Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills. Organisational skills. Good communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office applications. Additional Information Employment type: contract, tied to the September 2026 winter programme at the Manchester base.

Requirements
