About the Company Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance provides helicopter maintenance and support services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of the Airbus Helicopters organisation. Role Overview The B2 Instructor delivers technical and on-the-job training to maintenance technicians on the H145 helicopter, developing curricula and teaching aids and supervising trainees during evaluations. Licences & Qualifications Education: minimum diploma in an avionics specialty, or a recognised aviation training programme in the relevant field or specialty (minimum two years). Licensing: EASA Part-66 or FAA licence is preferred. Type rating: H145 type rating issued by an organisation approved by the OEM. Instructor certification: instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognised organisation is required. Being qualified at Level 7 in the related specialties of logistics, maintenance and training is preferred. Experience Technical: minimum five years of proven military or civilian experience in H145 maintenance. Instructional: minimum three years of proven experience as a technical instructor. Curriculum development: experience developing and delivering on-the-job training curricula in the relevant field for both newly qualified and experienced maintenance technicians. Training aids: experience developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads and slides to support technical training courses. Supervision and records: experience directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations, and maintaining training records in line with PSS/GSAC policies and procedures. Technical writing: three years in a technical writing position is preferred. Requirements Language: English at a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (listening, speaking, reading and writing) for non-native speakers; otherwise English proficiency is assessed during the PSS/GSAC interview. Software: working knowledge of office automation tools such as Microsoft Office, used to maintain training records.
