Role Overview 2Excel is seeking a full-time B2 Certifying Engineer to join its Capability Development Team in Doncaster. This permanent post involves conducting base maintenance activities, including major and minor modifications on the King Air 200, King Air 300 and PA31 fleet, as well as ongoing maintenance or rectification to suit operational demands. The role also supports the general day-to-day upkeep of the maintenance organisation. The shift pattern is to be discussed at interview. Key Responsibilities Supervision of non-licensed personnel Supervise electrical and avionics modification and integration activities on the B200 and B300 along with other company aircraft Support modification, maintenance and rectification on the B200, B300, PA31 and other company aircraft types as required Assist with complex electrical and avionics modifications and repairs, either on or off aircraft Remove and install aircraft electrical and avionics components as required Support mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures, and perform work safely and in a timely manner Support the cleanliness, tidiness and upkeep of maintenance facilities and equipment Perform and document work in accordance with the appropriate manuals and regulations Licences & Qualifications Essential: an unrestricted UK CAA Part-66 B2 licence, preferably with a B200 and/or B300 type rating or similar Training at an aircraft technical school, or completion of an apprenticeship in the relevant field Advantageous: currently holding a C licence, along with experience on multi-engine piston or turboprop aircraft Experience Several years of avionics and wiring repair/modification experience, or substantiated similar experience Demonstrable recent experience on the B200 and/or B300 or similar Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status Own a basic set of avionics/electrical hand tools, with demonstrable inventory and control of tools Demonstrated knowledge and use of avionics test equipment and electrical crimping tooling What We Offer GBP 72,061 to GBP 82,881 plus shift allowance, dependent on previous experience Generous holiday allowance Private health care Company pension Electric vehicle car scheme Additional Information Full-time, permanent.
