About the Company Line Up Aviation is a specialist aviation and aerospace recruitment agency with more than 30 years' experience placing personnel worldwide, working with some of the industry's best-known companies. Role Overview On behalf of its client, Line Up Aviation is seeking B1.3 Engineers on an initial 6-month contract. The B1.3 Engineer will work for the world's largest helicopter manufacturer, carrying out certification of maintenance and repair on AS350, AS355 Series, AS365, EC120, EC130, EC135, EC145 and EC155 rotorcraft. Contract: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 6 months. Pay: £80.26 per hour via umbrella. IR35 status: inside. Security clearance: BPSS, with SC clearance required. Key Responsibilities Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors; this is a certifying role requiring a Part-66 B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft) licence. Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft. Complete maintenance including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems. Replace avionic line replaceable units, carrying out simple tests to prove their serviceability. Supervise maintenance fitters and certify their work. Assist in the day-to-day running of the hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping. Licences & Qualifications Part-66 B1.3 licence. Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations, most importantly Part-145, Part M and UK ANO requirements, is essential. Applicants must meet all requirements of ITAR and export compliance regulations. Experience Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
