Role Overview 2Excel Engineering is seeking a skilled B1.2 Aircraft Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of a variety of turboprop and piston aircraft types. Location: 2Excel Engineering, Lasham, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Position type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, permanent. Key Responsibilities Ensure appropriate quality standards are delivered for maintenance, repairs, replacements, overhauls and modifications. Comply with company policies and report any shortfalls or shortages in production, standards, spares and equipment to the Supervisor. Promote and maintain good relationships with all other departments and personnel in order to enhance site efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure all man-hours are correctly recorded in accordance with company procedures. Keep the allocated zone, area and working equipment clean, tidy and serviceable where appropriate, reporting any discrepancies to the Supervisor. Requirements Proficient in troubleshooting problems and finding solutions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and safety. Licences & Qualifications Strong knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, including CAA Part-66 or equivalent. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK. Experience Previous experience working as a B1.2 aircraft mechanic on turboprop and piston aircraft is beneficial.
