About the Company 2Excel Engineering Ltd is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, specialising in supporting military, commercial and private aviation customers worldwide. The company combines dedicated facilities with a team of highly skilled professionals. Role Overview Full-time position at 2Excel Engineering, Lasham, Hampshire. The additional B1 Licensed Engineer will report to the Check Manager and Shift Manager and work a 5.5.4 shift pattern in a fast-paced base maintenance environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance in accordance with company procedures and the regulations of the appropriate authority for the aircraft being worked on Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft types, including inspections, repairs and modifications, in accordance with approved data Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to identify and rectify defects in aircraft systems, avionics and components Carry out aircraft certification and release to service as a B1 Licensed Engineer, maintaining accurate documentation Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, engineers and support staff to keep workflow efficient and minimise aircraft downtime Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures and regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance Licences & Qualifications Valid CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with at least one relevant type rating: B727, B737 (CL or NG), B757, A320, BE200 or BE300 Experience Demonstrable experience within a base maintenance environment Able to command respect among direct staff, peers, management and third-party customers Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage personnel effectively Confidence to deal with quality and performance issues among reports Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others What We Offer Competitive salary Generous holiday allowance and company pension scheme Opportunities for career development and training Dynamic, supportive working environment with opportunities for advancement Additional Information 2Excel is committed to equitable treatment, diversity and inclusion in its recruitment processes and among its workforce, and is a recognised Disability Confident Employer.
