Role Overview STS Aviation Services is recruiting experienced UK CAA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers for its growing base maintenance operation at Manchester Airport (MAN). This is a permanent, full-time role performing and certifying aircraft maintenance activities within the scope of company approvals. It requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability and a commitment to the highest standards of safety, compliance and maintenance quality. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Certify maintenance within the scope of company approvals and regulatory requirements. Provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff. Lead by example to maintain high standards of aircraft maintenance execution. Ensure aircraft maintenance activities are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction. Support strong technical dispatch reliability and on-time aircraft performance. Licences & Qualifications UK CAA Part-66 B1 licence required. Current CAA type certification on Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320 family aircraft. Type ratings being recruited: Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 737 MAX, Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321. Full UK driving licence required. Experience Previous base maintenance experience required. Requirements Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic aviation maintenance environment. Flexibility to meet changing operational and maintenance requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Additional Information Employment type: permanent, full-time. Work eligibility: applicants must be citizens of the United Kingdom or currently hold valid authorisation to work in the UK, with at least two years remaining before expiration.
