Role Overview As a Base Maintenance B1 Licensed Engineer you join TUI's Engineering and Maintenance function, a multi-disciplinary team of experts responsible for the technical operation and compliance of the fleet. You will use the latest techniques on aircraft airframe systems, engines and components, carrying out and certifying all aspects of base maintenance including inspection, servicing, fault finding, repairs, modifications and component changes. You report to the Senior Licensed Aircraft Engineer responsible for your area of work. Key Responsibilities Work as part of a team of engineers and mechanics across every area of the aircraft, maintaining a high standard of technical compliance and presentation With the guidance and support of your Senior Licensed Engineer, complete and certify varied and challenging tasks in accordance with applicable regulations and engineering procedures, safely, efficiently and to the highest standards Carry out inspections, servicing, component replacement, modifications and repairs to aircraft systems Use appropriate tools and equipment, working independently or as part of a team Complete all required maintenance records precisely, including accurate reporting of the time taken to accomplish assigned tasks Develop your skills, knowledge and experience to the required standard of quality within the trade skill set, company approval and timescales Engage with and actively support continuous improvement ideas Show enthusiasm, perseverance, a positive attitude and the flexibility to adapt to company demands Work co-operatively with all team members, contributing constructively to team objectives Requirements Detail-oriented and well organised Highly motivated and effective under pressure and time constraints Able to multi-task within a team environment Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Responsible and able to follow procedures and technical documentation Willingness to work shifts Able to obtain and hold the required airport security pass Licences & Qualifications Current EASA/UK B1 licence Ideally at least one appropriate fleet type rating (737NG, 737MAX or 787), though not essential Experience Experience in a base maintenance environment What We Offer Personal benefits: attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits and extensive health and well-being support A career to shape: access to the TUI Learning Hub to develop your skills and reach your ambitions Broaden your network: intercultural collaboration and opportunities to work on global projects and teams Community: involvement in local charity and sustainability initiatives such as the TUI Care Foundation Additional Information Safety is TUI's top priority, so thorough background checks are carried out on everyone who joins the airline; you will be guided on the information required at each stage. Requirements
