Role Overview Provide technical expertise while performing operational and functional tests and repairs of avionics, electronic and aircraft equipment and systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft. The technician gives superior technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to keep schedule impact to a minimum, and defines and implements process changes that reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics and aircraft electrical systems Perform operational and functional testing to ensure defect-free aircraft delivery Install and functionally test avionics and electrical components per engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals Lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor team members on diagnostics and repair techniques Repair or replace defective wiring and components using approved methods such as splicing, soldering and pinning Set up and operate test equipment to verify system performance and reliability Ensure all work meets conformity standards and is fully documented in logs and required paperwork Support engineering changes and modifications while maintaining safety and quality standards Pre-inspect work of others before inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency Enforce the foreign object damage programme, tool control, 5S and all safety programmes Coordinate across disciplines to meet production schedules and adapt to changing priorities Support final phase testing and certification, including potential aircraft flight tests Additional duties Where required, teach the installation and functional testing of electrical and avionics components and systems per engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals Self-inspection capability for all avionics testing functions in applicable areas Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems and components as required Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Strong experience troubleshooting avionics and aircraft electrical systems required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams Strong working knowledge of avionics systems and, preferably, other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, flight controls, landing gear and environmental systems APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred Proven ability to mentor others and lead technical problem-solving efforts Must be able to work any shift Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Requirements

• APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred
• Proven ability to mentor others and lead technical problem-solving efforts
