Job Description

Our client is a Part 145 AMO in Australia that primarily supports maintenance, repair, and overhaul of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, as well as component maintenance. Due to sustained and continual growth, they are currently looking for ATR 42/72 LAMEs who will take on the responsibility of heavy maintenance for the fixed wing fleet in accordance with both regulatory and organizational requirements. Additional type ratings on DHC-8 will be highly advantageous. A competitive and well-rounded remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates. Position: B1/B2 ATR 42/72 LAMEs Location: Cairns, Australia Work Pattern: 4-days' work week Job Responsibilities Be responsible for the handling of aircraft Base/line Maintenance checks. This includes the identification and rectification of problems and defects. Thoroughly analyze and interpret the relevant technical procedures, schematic engineering diagrams, manuals and publications. Collaborate and work with various departments to accomplish maintenance tasks to meet TAT requirements. Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks by the Responsible Manager within an agreed time frame. Certifying for stages of work regarding maintenance sign-off and the performance of maintenance certification are to be carried out no later than the end of the day. Supervise maintenance tasks performed by non-rated staff such as AMEs, Contractors, and/or Apprentices. Job Requirements At least 5 years of professional working experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Only CASA/ NZCAA/ EASA/ UKCAA / CAAS rated on ATR 42/72 series is accepted Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
