IndiGo is looking for an Assisting Engineer (RT License) to join its Maintenance team, based Pan-India. Position: Assisting Engineer (RT License) Location: Pan-India Team: Maintenance Date: 22nd Jul 26 Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: 10+2 and AME Diploma (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) Work Experience: 18 months as Technician on A320 / Boeing aircraft / ATR, or 3 years as Technician in General Aviation IT Skills: MS Office, Excel; experience working with aviation software such as AMOS License: Valid RT License Behavioural Competencies: Collaborative approach and good interpersonal skills Job Requirements and Responsibilities Carrying out jobs as allotted by the Maintenance Manager / Shift Manager or as asked by the AME allotted on the aircraft, such as but not restricted to the following: Marshalling of aircraft Parking and mooring of aircraft All scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance Carrying out all relevant paperwork You shall carry out maintenance of all engineering support equipment, such as but not restricted to the following: Various rigs and test equipment Various jacks All special tools Additional Responsibilities You may be issued a personal tool kit; you shall be responsible for this tool kit and must return all items at the time of leaving the organization. Draw tools that are not present in your personal tool kit, or special tools, from Stores and return them on completion of the job. Draw items and spares from Stores following company procedures. Return all components removed from the aircraft after job completion to Progress or Stores, after the relevant paperwork and computer entry as per company procedure. While working on the aircraft, take all general aviation precautions and the cautions specific to the particular job as specified in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual or advised by the concerned AME. Undertake flying duties or temporary out-station postings as and when required. Act as a mentor for your subordinates from time to time. Wear the uniform / protective clothing supplied to you by the organization. Be aware of and comply with the safety responsibilities and accountabilities laid down in the IndiGo SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
