Role Overview Full-time line maintenance engineer role in Hong Kong Airlines' Maintenance and Engineering department, based in the Hong Kong SAR. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Engineer, Line Maintenance level. Key Responsibilities Certify all scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance activities Rectify defects in accordance with approved maintenance data and record them properly in technical log entries in line with company policy Support Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) situations outside office hours when necessary Confirm that tooling and equipment are approved for each task and fit for the intended use Ensure proper records of all maintenance work carried out on aircraft, engines, components and equipment Provide guidance and technical coaching to mechanics Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects, including AOG rescue, riding engineer duty, outstation duty and on-site support for heavy maintenance checks Licences & Qualifications Holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (HKAR-66 or CAAC-66) Licence coverage on two aircraft types: A320 and A330 Diploma or above in a relevant discipline preferred Experience At least 6 years of line maintenance experience Requirements Detail oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills Good physical condition and able to work shift duty Good written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin Additional Information Hong Kong Airlines is an equal opportunities employer.
