The company is looking for highly motivated aircraft maintenance professionals to help grow the line maintenance station there. The A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of maintenance operations for customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top-level service. Work will be performed on various commercial and large regional aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus A320, CRJ and Embraer 170. All candidates must currently be authorised to work in the United States. Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads, working in close partnership with field airlines, flight crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers. Ensure aircraft are maintained to the airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices. Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair transport-category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment. Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity. Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results, following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation. Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required. Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required, plus other duties as deemed necessary. Licences & Qualifications Required: current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification (A&P) with no history of infractions. A plus: recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft. Strongly preferred but not required: previous experience on the A320 family, 737, Embraer 170/190 and CRJ 200/700/900. Own set of standard line maintenance tools; calibrated and specialty tooling will be provided. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and able to work with minimal supervision. With or without accommodations, able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50 lbs unassisted. Must pass a background check and drug and alcohol test, and be able to obtain customs and border patrol clearance. Basic-to-mid-level computer and organisational skills. Highly desired: experience working under an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station, or Part 135 experience. Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Able to work with little supervision while troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems on aircraft airframes and engines. Versatility and flexibility are important, as the schedule could include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Superior customer focus, communication skills and work ethic with a commitment to excellence. Pay Rate of pay is determined by previous experience and formal training. Starting pay rates range between $33 and $42 depending on experience. What We Offer Full time: paid time off, health insurance and 401(k). No benefits for part time.
