Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and talented A&P Mechanic to maintain and repair the equipment needed to make aircraft operate safely. The role covers the repair, inspection and maintenance of the structural, mechanical and electronic elements of the aircraft, replacing parts, measuring wear and assessing whether parts need repair or replacement. Key Responsibilities Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company and repair station manuals, company and department policies, and the FAA ASAP and Skyborne SMS programmes. Ensure consistent quality of workmanship. Licences & Qualifications Required: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licence. Required: High school diploma or GED; a two-year college or technical school qualification is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Required: Ability to read and understand technical manuals. Experience Required: Minimum of two years of general aviation experience covering 100-hour and annual inspections, sheet metal repairs, systems troubleshooting and replacement of parts. Requirements Must be flexible about working weekends. Positive and professional attitude, with the ability to interact professionally with various levels of management. General knowledge and use of hand tools. Ability to work and interact professionally with other mechanics and supervisors. Familiarity with firefighting and first aid equipment. Excellent organisational skills. General knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; other software may be required as needed. Additional Information Employment is contingent on all candidates passing a drug screening and background check, along with TSA badging if required for the role.
