About the Company Textron Aviation services Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft through its network of service centres. Role Overview Textron Aviation is hiring immediately for a full-time Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) Mechanic in its Service Center. The shift is the 5th shift. In this role you can expect to inspect and repair a variety of aircraft systems, perform functional tests and ensure compliance with FAA standards, tackling complex mechanical challenges, executing modifications and keeping aircraft in peak condition for safe flight. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Inspect and diagnose aircraft systems: perform detailed inspections and diagnose malfunctions on jet, turboprop and piston multi-engine aircraft to ensure airworthiness Repair and replace components: repair or replace complex assemblies, landing gear, pressurisation systems and engine accessories such as fuel pumps, generators and hydraulic systems Conduct functional tests: perform engine runs, instrument checks, rigging and throttle synchronisation to verify system performance and safety compliance Execute modifications and preventive maintenance: carry out structural modifications, 100-hour and annual inspections per FAR 43, and preventive maintenance to maintain optimal aircraft condition Document and ensure compliance: prepare accurate logs, inspection reports and parts documentation while adhering to FAA regulations and safety standards Collaborate and mentor: assist with troubleshooting during flight checks and provide guidance to lower-grade mechanics when required Licences & Qualifications Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) licence Knowledge of 100-hour and annual inspection requirements under FAR 43 What We Offer Full-time position with immediate start
Requirements
