Role Overview STS Technical Services is hiring an A&P hangar-based fixed wing / helicopter aviation maintenance technician to support an industry-leading air medical transport programme in Show Low, Arizona. The position offers long-term stability, benefits and performance-based bonuses while maintaining aircraft that directly support life-saving missions. Full-time, on-site. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, inspection, modification and repair on airframes, rotors, propellers, engines and appliances Coordinate with the Lead Maintenance Technician to plan and schedule work Communicate with flight crews to ensure aircraft readiness and operational safety Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts usage Manage calibrated tools, equipment inspections and documentation Maintain base facilities and equipment in compliance with company standards Ensure adherence to FAA regulations, maintenance manuals and safety procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Licences & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Licence: valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred Experience Minimum of 3 years of turbine rotorcraft or fixed-wing maintenance experience Strong understanding of FARs and maintenance documentation procedures Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Part 135 experience preferred Experience with Pilatus PC-12 or Bell 407 aircraft is a major advantage Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Stand, walk, kneel, climb and bend for extended periods Work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and noise levels Variable schedule based on programme requirements, with on-call availability and overtime as required What We Offer $2,000 sign-on bonus $5,000 retention bonus Competitive pay for qualified candidates, based on experience and offer terms Excellent benefits and long-term stability About the Company STS Technical Services is a Top 100 staffing firm that partners with leading organisations across the aviation, defense, manufacturing and industrial sectors, connecting skilled professionals with career opportunities that help shape the future of aviation.
