Role Overview STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Technicians for its Part 145 repair station in Melbourne, Florida, working on Airbus A320 and CRJ aircraft in a team supporting both overhaul and line maintenance operations. The technician performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial and regional aircraft, troubleshooting, inspecting and repairing aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM specifications. This is a long-term opportunity in a high-performance, safety-first environment. Key Responsibilities Perform all maintenance, repairs and inspections in accordance with applicable FAA regulations, company procedures and aircraft maintenance manuals. Troubleshoot mechanical and structural discrepancies across A320 and CRJ airframes. Document work performed and ensure proper completion of paperwork for all maintenance activities. Work independently and as part of a team to maintain aircraft to the highest safety standards. Adhere to shift schedules and respond to operational demands, including night, weekend and holiday shifts as required. Licences & Qualifications Required: valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) licence. Valid driver's licence. Ability to obtain airport badging and pass background checks. Experience Minimum of 24 months of previous experience as an A&P Technician in an MRO or line maintenance environment. Experience with commercial and/or large regional aircraft (Airbus A320 and CRJ series preferred). Requirements Must have a complete set of applicable hand tools. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, climb stairs and ladders, and work in confined spaces. Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold and moderate noise levels. Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions. Team player with good judgement and a safety-focused mindset. What We Offer Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
