Role Overview Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join the team as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. The position is responsible for completing routine inspections and repairs, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and running tests after making repairs. It reports to the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance. Key Responsibilities Complete and document routine inspections and repairs. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, which may include engines, landing gear, exteriors, brakes and pumps. Conduct tests after making repairs or performing maintenance on the company fleet. Requirements A positive attitude toward productivity and quality maintenance. Licences & Qualifications Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and company-issued licences. Experience Preferred: previous background and/or experience in mechanical operations. What We Offer Starting rate of $29.13 per hour, plus bonuses awarded in line with company policies and applicable criteria. Paid training, holiday pay, vacation and a 401(k) plan. Additional Information Work environment: use of computers and other office equipment, plus an airport ramp and warehouse environment subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels. Must be available to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays. Physical requirements: frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting and climbing up and down stairs; handling objects up to 70 pounds regularly and up to 100+ pounds occasionally with assistance from co-workers or tools. Pre-employment: employment is contingent on a valid driver's licence and clear driving record, a 10-year criminal history records check and a drug screen as required. Proof of high school or GED completion is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Application deadline: 3 September 2026.
