It operates scheduled flights to destinations across the U.S., Canada, Central America and the Caribbean, as well as charter and cargo operations worldwide. Role Overview Sun Country Airlines is seeking an Aircrew Training Instructor (ATI) responsible for developing, maintaining and facilitating various pilot and other ground training courses, covering both new-hire and recurrent training. This is a contractor position. Key Responsibilities Instruct, facilitate and conduct all ground training modules, including classroom presentations, systems integration training and procedures training Develop FAA-approved training programme curricula by creating lesson plans and presentations Develop training schedules that integrate with fixed-base and full-flight simulator training Develop and coordinate contract simulator training courseware Audit training performance for internal and external contract training Identify and recommend Operating Manual changes and improvements Provide information systems support for pilot ground training devices, acting as computer network, iPad and software administrator for training centre computers and updating or installing all databases and programs used for pilot training Initiate operational changes to ensure the training plan is completed ahead of operational requirements Work with the senior management team on training concerns, including areas of improvement for the ground training programme and student performance Maintain the training library, digital library, handouts, documentation and source material Coordinate as needed with the Chief Pilot in the pilot hiring process Develop written tests for baseline qualification analysis Develop, print and distribute training material for students and simulator instructors Ancillary duties may include ASAP and/or FOQA programme management and support Support other training operations (flight attendants, ground operations and others) on behalf of Flight Operations Ensure tasks are conducted safely and in compliance with local, state and federal safety and health regulations and company standards Other duties as assigned by management Requirements Prior Part 121 experience Aviation instruction background Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and able to use or quickly learn enterprise applications Motivated self-starter able to perform and communicate effectively in a multitasking environment Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal Licences & Qualifications Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree Instrument rating Commercial Pilot Certificate Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) Military navigator background What We Offer 1099 contract paying $400 per event Onsite work in Minneapolis, Minnesota Additional Information No supervisory responsibility. The job operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Physical demands: the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, colour, peripheral and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Requirements

• Instruct, facilitate and conduct all ground training modules, including classroom presentations, systems integration training and procedures training
• Develop FAA-approved training programme curricula by creating lesson plans and presentations
• Develop training schedules that integrate with fixed-base and full-flight simulator training
• Develop and coordinate contract simulator training courseware
• Audit training performance for internal and external contract training
• Identify and recommend Operating Manual changes and improvements
• Provide information systems support for pilot ground training devices, acting as computer network, iPad and software administrator for training centre computers and updating or installing all databases and programs used for pilot training
• Initiate operational changes to ensure the training plan is completed ahead of operational requirements
• Work with the senior management team on training concerns, including areas of improvement for the ground training programme and student performance
• Maintain the training library, digital library, handouts, documentation and source material

• Prior Part 121 experience
• Aviation instruction background
