Widerøe Technical has more than 400 employees and carries out aircraft maintenance on line, base and workshop activities covering structures, avionics, hydromechanical work, interiors, propellers, engines and NDT. At Torp you join a solid, committed group of 60 employees across 5 strong teams with a high professional focus, working mainly A-checks and line maintenance on the Dash 8-Q400 and Embraer E190-E2. Role Overview Widerøe is seeking skilled aircraft technicians and mechanics for Line Maintenance in Sandefjord. There are two temporary shift-service (rotation) positions available, each with a duration of 1.5 years. As a technician at the line base you become a key person in a strong professional environment that keeps the aircraft airworthy every single day, all year round, working close to daily operations and securing safe, punctual departures through precise and professional maintenance. Safety first: an exhaustive police certificate (UPA) is required on appointment, with information available from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority. Widerøe carries out drug and alcohol testing for new appointments in flight-operations-related positions, and any appointment is conditional on a negative test result. General information: personal suitability is weighted heavily. The main place of work is Torp/Sandefjord (Torp 3241 Sandefjord, Sandefjord municipality) and some travel should be expected.
