Aircraft Mechanic / Inspector - Flightline and Delivery

About the Company Airbus is looking for an aircraft mechanic and inspector in Flightline & Delivery to support the A320 Family. Flightline & Delivery is a highly dynamic environment in which the aircraft passes through its final steps before handover to the customer, requiring a high degree of flexibility and independence. Your Location You work at the largest civil aircraft production site in Hamburg. Its position on the southern bank of the Elbe makes commuting by ferry possible, and Hamburg offers a lively metropolitan culture alongside nautical heritage. Key Responsibilities Prepare and secure the operational readiness of the aircraft during the production and flight test phases in line with the programme plan. Carry out system tests on the aircraft and replace mechanical components. Perform functional checks and precise leak tests on various systems in accordance with the AMM, RTI or work order. Carry out standard servicing work on the aircraft, including cleaning, air conditioning, draining and filling systems. Prepare and handle aircraft for engine tests, test flights, customer acceptance flights and delivery flights. Look after international customers during the flight test and delivery phase, resolve complaints in a solution-oriented way, and document all technical entries in the Airbus LogBook (ALB) and Customer LogBook (CLB). Licences & Qualifications Completed aviation-technical vocational training, for example as an aircraft mechanic, ideally supplemented by a valid CAT A (Mechanic) with the A320 type entered on the Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML). Valid category B driving licence. Experience Several years of practical experience in aircraft manufacturing or maintenance. Confident handling of technical aircraft documentation and of modern test equipment and tools. Requirements Strong ability to cooperate with colleagues and a high level of service orientation in direct customer contact. Business-fluent German and technical English, given the international documentation and customer base.
