Role Overview This role covers all work generally recognised as mechanic work at company-designated stations. It may include powerplants, line, ETOPS, temporary duty (TDY), refuelling, parts, ground equipment, facilities and other related work as directed by leadership. Key Responsibilities Technicians are responsible for all work performed on their shift May be required to test, check and certify for service the work performed Perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance work including servicing, repair and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority Demonstrate initiative and cooperation towards other mechanics Receive and dispatch arriving and departing aircraft Perform other duties as assigned, such as towing and refuelling Help handle parts and maintain tools, ground equipment and facilities, plus other related daily operational work as directed by leadership Licences & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education Local licence or FAA A&P licence preferred Completion of local qualification as required for daily operation Must hold a basic Taiwan driver's licence Experience Previous experience in aircraft maintenance is preferred Requirements A proactive individual and team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be flexible to work any shift assigned according to the flight schedule in a 24/7 operation, including late nights, early hours, weekends and holidays Must be willing and able to travel internationally for training and meetings, and to work in other countries to support short-term relief or field service recovery missions Must be legally authorised to work in Taiwan for any employer without sponsorship Must be fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing and speaking) Must be able to obtain an airport badge to work at TPE airport Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Additional Information This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
