About the Company On-Site Support is part of the Military Support Center Germany (MSCG) at Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH and supports the customer with industrial capacity and experience in MRO and upgrades. Role Overview Airbus Helicopters is looking for an aircraft mechanic with a focus on mechanics to strengthen its On-Site Support team at Nordholz. You help plan and carry out maintenance and repair work and actively support flight operations on site. The position can also be performed on reduced working hours from a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the scope of tasks adjusted accordingly. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance and retrofit activities. Plan and implement complex work schedules. Independently perform inspection, maintenance and repair measures on the aircraft. Provide technical support, complex fault analysis and troubleshooting within flight operations. Independently keep the accompanying work documentation, for example the aircraft logbook and SASPF records. Mechanical tasks Integrate components, assemblies and parts for the build-up of the aircraft. Carry out first level quality control. Perform fault finding and rectification on systems, equipment and the aircraft. Carry out assembly and disassembly activities. Inspect aircraft parts. Use hand tools or machines to fit and assemble parts. Requirements Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable qualification (mechanics or similar). Several years of relevant professional experience in the field. Advanced German language skills; technical English is an advantage. Practical experience in aircraft maintenance and servicing. Experience with interactive electronic technical documentation systems (for example IETD, SASPF) is desirable. A high sense of responsibility and conscientiousness. Resilience, flexibility and an independent working style. Willingness to take part in night flying activities is desirable; this is only required on certain projects.
