Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance work, including servicing, repair and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority Demonstrate initiative and leadership to other mechanics Licences & Qualifications Valid aircraft maintenance certificate or equivalent competency for the UK Completion of local Mechanic Qualification Full UK driving licence, or willingness to obtain one within the probationary period Preferred: valid FAA A&P licence or equivalent competency for the UK Experience Previous experience in aircraft maintenance required Requirements High school diploma or equivalent school leaving certificate; a bachelor's degree is preferred Must be fluent in English, written and spoken Must be at least 18 years of age Must be flexible to work any assigned shift in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays Must be willing and able to travel internationally for training and meetings, and to work in other countries to support short-term relief or field service recovery missions Must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom for any employer without sponsorship Must be able to obtain a permanent airside ID for LHR Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Additional Information This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. Unless subject to a collective bargaining agreement in the country to which an employee is being transferred, the employee retains their original date of employment and company seniority in the new country. On transfer, the employee is removed from payroll and benefits in the former country and placed in the salary range and payroll and benefits systems of the new country. Human Resources assists with the terms and conditions of employment in light of labour agreements, collective agreements, country work rules and labour laws; in the new country the employee is reinstated using the same employee ID, date of employment and company seniority dates.

Requirements

• Perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance work, including servicing, repair and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications
• May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority
• Demonstrate initiative and leadership to other mechanics
• Valid aircraft maintenance certificate or equivalent competency for the UK
• Completion of local Mechanic Qualification
• Full UK driving licence, or willingness to obtain one within the probationary period
• Preferred: valid FAA A&P licence or equivalent competency for the UK
• Previous experience in aircraft maintenance required
