Role Overview As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician you play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability and performance of the aircraft fleet. You will perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in full compliance with FAA regulations, company policies and manufacturer maintenance manuals, supporting JSX's mission to provide safe and efficient air travel. Requisition reference: R-100559. Key Responsibilities Pre-flight inspections: start the day by waking up the aircraft, conducting thorough pre-flight checks so all systems are fully operational before take-off. Post-flight inspections: after each flight, perform detailed post-flight evaluations to identify and address any issues or wear. Maintenance logging: document all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in Traxxall and sign them off properly in aircraft logbooks, ensuring full traceability and compliance. Hangar maintenance: help maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in the hangar. Requirements Required: high school diploma / GED. Required: ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds. Required: ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching and prolonged periods of standing. Required: available to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, holidays and weekends. Required: participation in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines. Required: ability to operate a forklift, boom lift, scissor lift and similar equipment. Required: ability to taxi and engine-run an airplane. Required: must procure own tool set. Preferred: prior aircraft maintenance experience. Preferred: experience working with AMM, IBC, FIM and similar troubleshooting references. Licences & Qualifications Required: current and valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. Required: current and valid driver's licence. Ability to operate in time-critical situations with strong attention to detail. What We Offer Starting compensation: $29.00 – $44.00.
