Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance work, including servicing, repair and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority Demonstrate initiative and leadership to other A&P mechanics Licences & Qualifications Valid national (DGAC) Aircraft Maintenance Certificate and a valid FAA A&P licence Completion of local Mechanic Qualification Requirements Experience Minimum three (3) years' experience on the B737 and Airbus A320 or similar aircraft types Five (5) years' experience on the B737 and Airbus A320 or similar aircraft types preferred Requirements Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish Must hold a valid passport and U.S. visa Must be legally authorised to work in Mexico without sponsorship Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies Must be flexible to work any assigned shift in a 24-hour, seven-day operation, which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holidays Attendance is required at the work location Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications Additional Information This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Requirements

  • Perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance work, including servicing, repair and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications
  • May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority
  • Demonstrate initiative and leadership to other A&P mechanics
  • Valid national (DGAC) Aircraft Maintenance Certificate and a valid FAA A&P licence
  • Completion of local Mechanic Qualification Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience on the B737 and Airbus A320 or similar aircraft types
  • Five (5) years' experience on the B737 and Airbus A320 or similar aircraft types preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish
  • Must hold a valid passport and U.S. visa
