About the Company Airbus Helicopters Philippines Inc. provides helicopter maintenance and engineering services under the approvals of the governing national civil aviation authority. Role Overview The Aircraft Maintenance Technician carries out aircraft maintenance and servicing practices on the airframe, powerplant systems and related components, and certifies that work in line with the release authorisation issued by the AHPI Quality Department. Key Responsibilities Accomplish scheduled maintenance and servicing of the aircraft airframe, powerplant systems and related components with reference to the applicable current aircraft maintenance manuals and technical references. Perform tear down, testing, inspections, troubleshooting, repair and modification of airframe, powerplant and associated systems and components in accordance with the approved, current and applicable OEM maintenance manuals and technical references. Accomplish airworthiness publications such as airworthiness directives, service bulletins, alert service bulletins and related technical publications to ensure continued aircraft airworthiness and sustainable maintenance programmes. Certify maintenance tasks in accordance with the release authorisation and the appropriate rating issued by the AHPI Quality Department, respecting the maintenance ratings and approvals of the governing national civil aviation authority such as CAAP, EASA or FAA. Ensure delegated maintenance work packages are completed efficiently and cost effectively without compromising quality and safety standards. Perform other tasks directed by the immediate supervisor within the general scope of your skills and expertise, including related administrative matters. Promote and live by the Airbus values. Licences & Qualifications Licence: valid and current governing national aviation authority licence, for example CAAP, EASA or FAA, as applicable. Bachelor of Science, four-year degree course in engineering, preferably in aviation or aerospace specialising in airframe and powerplant. Specialised training and certificates as appropriate and relevant. Experience Two years or more of relevant experience in aviation maintenance and engineering; rotary aircraft and helicopter maintenance experience is an advantage. Computer literacy with up-to-date specialist applications, Microsoft software and other operating systems currently used in the aviation industry.
