Role Overview The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT), employed as an airframe, avionics or structural technician, uses the correct tools, methods, techniques and equipment required to perform aircraft maintenance. The AMT is a working member of a crew and reports to an ACA, Crew Chief or associated Lead. Key Responsibilities Perform work in accordance with the Work Performed policy of the maintenance manual and any specialised work for which suitably trained and authorised Identify and order parts Perform required computer entries and functions Sign for the performance of your work Comply with company policies, procedures and standards Maintain your personal records Ensure any issues that could jeopardise production or airworthiness are raised in a timely manner Ensure airworthiness and safety policies, processes and standards are complied with Ensure a safe and tidy workplace Requirements Transport Canada accepted aircraft maintenance training course or an accredited course Able to work independently with minimal supervision Experience on commercial or military aircraft is an asset Able to work on complex assignments requiring considerable judgement, initiative and technical/specialised knowledge Able to problem solve and troubleshoot Languages: able to communicate in English and French Demonstrates strong and visible support of the company values Experience in line maintenance in a fast-paced environment is preferred Ability to perform all work in support of the Corporate Values of Excellence, Service, Integrity and Together Licences & Qualifications Position requires Level 2 Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities Work in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations Follow safe work practices and procedures and use safeguards and personal protective equipment Report hazards, such as unsafe situations and activities, to a supervisor immediately What We Offer A work environment in which service, integrity, excellence and teamwork are highly valued Opportunities for development and growth Multidisciplinary and multicultural collaboration at local and global level A flexible schedule Attractive benefit plan Come share your passion with us.
