Role Overview STS Aviation Services is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager in Melbourne, Florida. The post is classified as non-exempt hourly, full-time regular, and is primarily office-based, with work alongside the production team on aircraft to evaluate programme status and provide guidance if changes are required. Travel is possible to meet customers' project needs or to evaluate offsite project production. Key Responsibilities Provide planning, administrative, budgetary and reporting support for assigned modification or heavy maintenance lines Provide support to avionics, fuel, composite and paint Ensure work is performed safely within budgeted time, in regulatory compliance and to customer and company guidelines Perform and recommend management actions on hiring, scheduling, employee development, coaching and mentoring Act as the liaison point of contact between STS and the customer Carry out other duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance or VP of Operations Licences & Qualifications High school diploma or GED Airframe or Powerplant licence Experience 5 years' experience in aircraft heavy maintenance or modification 5 years' supervisory or lead experience in heavy maintenance or modifications Working knowledge of FAA regulations covering FAR Part 145 repair station operations Preferred: associate or bachelor's degree in business management or a related technical field Preferred: project management certification and two years' project management experience at a FAR Part 145 repair station Preferred: working knowledge of process improvement methodology such as Six Sigma or Lean principles Requirements Excellent verbal, written, computer and presentation skills for working with a variety of individuals, departments and organisations Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, database software such as AvPro or similar, email and other web-based applications Proven planning and organisational skills to process, coordinate, prioritise and track workload in a multi-project environment Excellent working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance including mechanical, structural and avionics systems Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team About the Company STS Aviation Services operates state-of-the-art aircraft hangars, interior modification facilities and more than 40 line maintenance stations in the United States and abroad, blending a growing portfolio of MRO services into aircraft maintenance, engineering and modification solutions for the global aviation industry. Requirements

- Airframe or Powerplant licence
- 5 years' experience in aircraft heavy maintenance or modification
- 5 years' supervisory or lead experience in heavy maintenance or modifications
