Role Overview Babcock is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) based at its Prince Rupert, British Columbia facility (Band 5b). Locally based and rotational touring options are available. All AMEs report to the Crew Chief for completion of the maintenance and repair tasks assigned to them, while ensuring compliance with Babcock Canada's policies and procedures and the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose and repair AW169 aircraft Create and complete task cards and work packs in CAMP Work with specialised aviation and power tools, computers and diagnostic equipment Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and keep timely, accurate records of repair and maintenance activities Use the appropriate personal protective equipment and maintain a clean, productive work area Conduct aircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior, excluding medical biohazards Read, understand and adhere to the Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, company policies and procedures, and the MPM Use the company reporting system to report any hazard, incident or accident Enter labour accurately in the labour tracking system for all tasks performed Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines, and other duties as assigned Licences & Qualifications Required: a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME licence Valid driver's licence Eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) The right to work in Canada and/or holding, or able to obtain, a Canadian passport Experience Experience working on a rotary-wing asset, ideally on Leonardo Helicopters AW-family aircraft, in particular the AW169 Demonstrated experience working on CAMP or other similar maintenance programs Good organisational skills and proficiency in written and spoken English Physical ability to sit or crouch, and to walk or stand, for extended periods; dexterity to work in confined spaces; comfortable working at height Ability and willingness to undertake shift work What We Offer Expected salary of CAD 68,806 to CAD 118,806, presented as part of a competitive total compensation package; the final base salary is at the company's sole discretion and considers skills, experience and internal equity 100% employer-paid health and dental premiums, plus a wellness benefit Employee and Family Assistance Plan (EFAP) Maternity/parental leave top-up payment RRSP/DPSP program with a matched portion of earnings, plus the option to contribute directly to a TFSA Agile workplace for several positions and the option of a compressed work schedule Competitive annual vacation time off and additional time off during the holiday closure Comprehensive colleague recognition and bonus programs Training and support for professional development and professional membership dues Additional Information Babcock is committed to a workforce without boundaries and welcomes contributions regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics or disability. Requirements
