Role Overview The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) ensures that the aircraft are maintained in an airworthy and dispatch-ready status at all times. Key Responsibilities Ensure all replacement parts are inspected, eligible and properly certified prior to installation Ensure removed parts are properly tagged and routed to quarantine Ensure work accomplished on any aircraft or component complies with the applicable manufacturer's recommended standards, the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company policies and procedures Sign for accomplishment of your own work on applicable work forms and records, and review forms and records to ensure entries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures Assist in the on-the-job training and instruction of personnel Carry out Independent Checks when authorised as per company policies and procedures Carry out Receiving Inspections when authorised as per company policies and procedures Ensure related training is valid at all times Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Licences & Qualifications Valid TCCA AME licence in a recognised discipline, with appropriate experience and aircraft type courses Position requires Level II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program Experience Minimum of 2 years' experience Experience on commercial or military aircraft Experience in line maintenance in a fast-paced environment is preferred Requirements Able to work on complex assignments requiring considerable judgement, initiative and technical/specialised knowledge Able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to problem solve and troubleshoot Able to communicate in English Team player with autonomy Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to perform all work in support of the Corporate Values What We Offer A work environment in which service, integrity, excellence and teamwork are highly valued Opportunities for development and growth Multidisciplinary and multicultural collaboration at local and global level A flexible schedule Attractive benefit plan Come share your passion with us. Requirements
