Role Overview DHL Aviation is looking for a skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor (B1.1) at Copenhagen Airport (CPH). The role combines hands-on aircraft maintenance with operational leadership and people management, ensuring aircraft operate safely, efficiently and on time. You will lead a team of experienced aircraft mechanics while remaining actively involved in maintenance across DHL's Airbus A300, Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 fleet, reporting directly to the Station Manager and working closely with colleagues across DHL's international maintenance organisation. Contract: permanent, full-time. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily line maintenance activities, including planning, prioritising and allocating resources. Provide day-to-day leadership, support employee development and follow up on team performance. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance within the scope of your authorisations. Monitor the daily operation, including the Daily Operating Plan and relevant KPIs. Manage operational challenges and escalate issues when required. Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements. Licences & Qualifications Required: a valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, minimum category B1.1. Required: at least one aircraft type rating endorsed on the Part-66 licence; this does not need to be on one of DHL's aircraft types. Required: relevant and documented aircraft maintenance experience; ability to lead, coordinate and prioritise maintenance activities. Required: proficiency in written and spoken English, a valid driving licence and the legal right to work in Denmark. Required: ability to complete the required background checks and obtain an airport ID card, and availability to work the day/night shift rotation. Advantage: an additional B2 category on the Part-66 licence. Advantage: a type rating on the A300, B757 and/or B767. Advantage: a type rating covering the Airbus A330 or A321, or relevant experience on either type. Advantage: previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role. You do not need to hold a type rating on DHL's aircraft to apply. Relevant type training is provided, and you must be willing to complete the required A300/B757 type training. Experience Previous experience in a formal supervisory role is an advantage, but applications are also welcome from experienced engineers who have shown leadership potential and are ready for the next step. Technical expertise combined with the ability to lead and support others, clear communication and sound decision-making when operational priorities change.
