About the Company Air Serbia is the national airline of the Republic of Serbia and one of the oldest airlines in Europe, with a history dating back to 1927. The airline flies to over 80 regular, seasonal and charter destinations throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, North America, Asia and Africa, in both passenger and cargo traffic. The fleet currently consists of twenty-five aircraft. Role Overview Aircraft Engineer based at Belgrade Airport, responsible for certifying maintenance work carried out in accordance with approved data and within the scope of approval, and for supervising technicians. Key Responsibilities Certify own work and the work of others after verifying it was completed in accordance with the approved data for aircraft maintenance and within the framework of approval Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant technical data, for example the instructions contained in the approved aircraft documents Give maximum attention to on-time performance Strictly adhere to safety procedures when working in the vicinity of aircraft, to protect yourself and others and to prevent damage to the aircraft and its equipment Supervise technicians in all aspects of servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance work on the aircraft Ensure that all maintenance work on the assigned aircraft is carried out correctly, certified and correctly entered in the maintenance logs Immediately report to the maintenance team leader when maintenance work is required that could potentially cause a delay Provide an effective and consistent approach to establishing, promoting and maintaining discipline in the workplace Proactively participate in all health and safety matters and perform risk assessments if and when required Requirements High school or vocational degree (level IV/V) English language at intermediate, active level Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet) Licences & Qualifications Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence, EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type II Experience At least 3 years of experience in the same or similar roles
Requirements
