Role Overview Liaison across CS Operations, vendors, GAC Quality and GAC Engineering, providing timely and effective solutions for avionics systems. The specialist builds customer relationships around troubleshooting and solving the entire spectrum of aircraft systems, support equipment and operational problems relating to Gulfstream's in-service product. The role is responsible for the verification and performance of avionics, electrical and mechanical aircraft systems in accordance with engineering and maintenance documentation, including cockpit and cabin checkout, ASC installations, avionics installations, outside operations, and aircraft test flights and recovery. Key Responsibilities Under minimal direction, provide advice and guidance to the company and the customer on installation, service, repair, replacement, modification and maintenance of Gulfstream aircraft systems and support equipment Interface with Quoting/Sales, Tech Ops, Engineering and Inspection/Return to Service in support of installations, configurations and modifications, certifications, troubleshooting assistance and compliance of systems and processes Be involved from the planning, installation and check-out phases of a project, identifying potential problems that may occur Ensure compliance with STC, FAA and EASA standards and regulatory mandates Identify problems and trends and troubleshoot in-service aircraft Develop, prepare and update new and existing troubleshooting procedures Coordinate the development and evaluation of test equipment for use on Gulfstream aircraft Configure aircraft systems and provide feedback to identify items or configurations that may lead to problems, offering options where planned systems may not be compatible with existing equipment Provide customer assistance with subscription services and training on newly installed systems Work with manufacturers and vendors to validate software or configuration changes implemented on units installed on the aircraft for testing purposes Provide training and workplace coaching to avionics technicians on the aircraft systems implemented Support customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely manner; devise alternative approaches to complex aircraft system and support equipment operational conditions and originate new approaches in one or more areas of field engineering as required Support road trips to repair discrepancies at customer facilities, working independently to quickly analyse, identify and correct system defects with minimal downtime Perform other duties as assigned Licences & Qualifications Associate's degree in aviation avionics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Preferred: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) licence Preferred: repairman certificate Preferred: other FCC licence Preferred: other NCATT certification Experience 8 years of avionics or electrical experience Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, technical manual systems and aircraft maintenance records systems Preferred: computer software skills with strong networking knowledge Requirements Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams Good understanding of Windows computer applications, including standard word and data processing programs such as the Microsoft Office suite Must be proficient with DOS for troubleshooting purposes on LAN systems Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English What We Offer Pay: the compensation range for this role is $38.78 - $50.89 per hour. Requirements

- Associate's degree in aviation avionics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Preferred: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) licence
- Preferred: repairman certificate
- Preferred: other FCC licence
- Preferred: other NCATT certification
- 8 years of avionics or electrical experience
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, technical manual systems and aircraft maintenance records systems
- Preferred: computer software skills with strong networking knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Good understanding of Windows computer applications, including standard word and data processing programs such as the Microsoft Office suite
