Role Overview STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah. This contract-to-direct opportunity supports a growing fleet of turbine aircraft in a fast-paced maintenance environment where precision, safety and reliability drive everything. The company is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with A&P certification to support a mixed fleet of turbine and turboprop aircraft. The role is critical to maintaining fleet availability while ensuring all maintenance is performed to the highest safety and compliance standards, and suits technicians who are comfortable working across multiple platforms, value accurate documentation and want to join a team focused on execution and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine and turboprop aircraft Troubleshoot mechanical and avionics discrepancies using sound judgement Complete all maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Accurately document maintenance actions using digital tracking systems Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations and Parts teams Support aircraft readiness and efficient turnaround times Provide maintenance support at primary bases and remote locations as required Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment Requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work independently and within a team Must be willing and able to work in Salt Lake City, Utah or Ogden, Utah Must be open to a contract-to-direct hire transition Strong communication skills and professionalism in a team environment Licences & Qualifications Required: valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant licence Preferred: Inspection Authorization (not required) Preferred: OEM or factory training on turbine aircraft Education: high school diploma or equivalent Experience Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining turbine and/or turboprop aircraft Strong understanding of FAA regulations, including Part 135 operations Additional Information The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a high-performance maintenance operation, and who is proactive, team-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
