About the Company The role is with Helicopteros do Brasil S/A (Helibras), the Airbus Helicopters company in Brazil, based in Itajuba, Minas Gerais. Role Overview The mechanic performs maintenance, preventive maintenance, modification and reconstruction work, including inspection, on items within helicopter dynamic assemblies. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, modification or reconstruction on an item (including inspection) within assemblies. Carry out services in accordance with current aviation legislation, the Helibras MOM (Maintenance Organization Manual) and MCQ (Quality Control Manual), and the data given in the aircraft manufacturers' manuals. Use the methods, techniques and practices set out in the latest revision of the manufacturer's maintenance manual, in the manufacturer's instructions for continued airworthiness, or other methods approved by Helibras. Use the tools, equipment and test devices needed for the assigned activities so that work is performed in line with generally accepted industry practice, and confirm that materials used comply with legislative requirements and manufacturer standards. Perform the tests and checks needed to confirm the operability of the item inspected or maintained. Understand the continued airworthiness instructions in the language in which the technical data in the manufacturers' manuals is written, as well as airworthiness directives issued by manufacturers and aviation authorities. Perform inspections or other maintenance specified in an airworthiness limitation section of a manufacturer's maintenance manual, or other instructions for continued airworthiness, in accordance with that section. Comply with manufacturer service bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) issued by the aviation authorities. Record the services performed and/or supervised in accordance with current legislation using the forms defined by the company through the MOM/MCQ, making records immediately after each activity is completed and ensuring all relevant records are made before considering the service complete. Keep the workstation clean and organised, collecting all debris produced during the day's activities and depositing it in the appropriate place. Clean, organise and store all tooling used, to keep the work area organised and ensure no tools are left behind in the aircraft. Requirements Completed technical training in aeronautical maintenance mechanics (MMA). Ability to read and understand technical manuals in English. Licences & Qualifications CHT (technical qualification certificate) in Airframe. Experience Experience with dynamic components, rotors or specialised workshops. Previous practical experience in aeronautical maintenance. Previous experience with the Airbus Helicopters product line. Requirements
