About the Company Airbus Defence and Space is recruiting for its Manching site. Role Overview Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an A400M Aircraft Mechanic to work on the A400M weapon system at Manching. Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled and unscheduled assembly, maintenance and repair work and structural repairs on the A400M weapon system. Analyse faults and malfunctions based on reports and rectify them. Fit modifications in accordance with drawings and specifications. Determine repair and replacement scopes and carry out repairs, adjustment and setting work and functional tests independently and on your own responsibility. Carry out assembly work and modifications according to plans, drawings and instructions. Document damage reports and carry out the resulting repairs. Ensure continuous improvement. Carry out first level quality checks. Requirements Completed vocational training in a metalworking environment. Very extensive, long-term experience on aircraft. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of MS Office applications and OPAL. Languages: fluent German and a good command of English, including technical English. The position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities.
