Job Description

Role Overview IndiGo is recruiting pilots with a military flying background for two non-type rated A320 positions: A320 Senior First Officer and Transition Captain (ex-military). Position 1 - A320 Senior First Officer (Military Background) Requirements Maximum age: 55 years. Nationality and licence: Indian national holding a valid DGCA-issued ATPL together with a valid FRTO, RTR and Class 1 Medical. Multi-engine endorsement on the licence: minimum 25 hours multi-engine, of which at least 15 hours on an actual aircraft and a maximum of 10 hours on a simulator. Accident and incident-free record at the time of application. Experience Pilots with military flying experience: minimum 1,500 flying hours on military fighter, trainer jet or transport aircraft. Position 2 - Transition Captain (Ex-Military) Requirements Open to pilots with military flying experience. Maximum age: 58 years. Nationality and licence: Indian national holding a valid DGCA-issued ATPL together with FRTO, RTR and Class 1 Medical. Multi-engine endorsement on the licence: minimum 25 hours multi-engine, of which at least 15 hours on an actual aircraft and a maximum of 10 hours on a simulator. Accident and incident-free record at the time of application. Experience Total flying time of 3,000 hours. Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on military transport glass-cockpit aircraft.
