About the Company The position sits within the Nile Air Technical Department and is critical to ensuring the continued airworthiness, safety and operational reliability of the fleet. This is a full-time role. Role Overview Nile Air is seeking highly qualified and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (B1/B2) to support its line maintenance operations. The ideal candidate has significant hands-on line maintenance experience and has completed an Airbus A320 type course (ECAA). Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance tasks in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory standards. Accurately diagnose and rectify aircraft defects, ensuring minimal operational disruption. Complete all associated documentation and certification to the required standards. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety protocols and aviation authority regulations. Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, MCC and flight operations to ensure aircraft readiness. Take part in audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives as required. Licences & Qualifications Valid B1 ECAA licence or valid B2 ECAA licence. Airbus A320 type rating is a must. Experience Minimum 8 years' experience in a line maintenance environment. Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency. Requirements Desirable attributes: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Flexible, adaptable and committed to operational excellence. Willingness to work shifts and weekends, and to travel as required.
