Technical Shopfloor Engineer

£30.00 PAYE / £40.13 Umbrella + Shift Uplift
12-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Overview

We're hiring a Technical Shopfloor Engineer to support production operations within a leading manufacturing environment. This role focuses on resolving technical issues on the shopfloor, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production teams by diagnosing and resolving technical issues beyond operator level
  • Provide a shopfloor engineering perspective to improve efficiency and performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
  • Identify and support the resolution of non-conformance issues

Requirements

  • Strong experience in manufacturing or lineside engineering
  • Knowledge of regulated production environments
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently

Working Pattern

Double day shifts (20% uplift):

  • 06:00 - 13:10 / 13:30 - 20:40 (alternating weekly)
